Privacy Policy

Everything the calculator does happens on your device. The transaction amount, payment type, merchant status and sector are held in the browser for the length of your visit and used to work out the result on the spot.

These values are not transmitted to any server, not written to a database, and not logged. There is no API behind the calculator to send them to. Close the tab and they are gone.

If you use the Share button, the current amount and options are placed in the page address so the link reproduces your calculation. That link goes wherever you send it, so treat it as you would any other link you share.

This is a calculator, not a payment tool. It will never ask you for any of the following, and you should not enter them anywhere on this site:

• UPI PIN
• One-time passwords (OTP)
• Bank account passwords or net banking credentials
• Bank account numbers or UPI IDs
• Card numbers, expiry dates or CVV
• Name, phone number, address or date of birth

No page here has a sign-up form, a login, a newsletter box or a payment field. If you ever see one on a site claiming to be UPIFees.com, it is not us.

UPIFees.com sets no cookies. It does not use local storage or session storage, and there are no advertising or tracking pixels, no social media widgets and no embedded third party scripts. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

The site currently runs no analytics. If privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics are added later, this page will be updated before they go live and will name the provider and what it measures. Any such analytics would record page views in aggregate, never the amounts you enter.

The site is served as static files by a hosting provider. Like any web host, that provider records standard request information such as IP address, user agent, referring page and the file requested, for security and for keeping the service running. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors, and we do not combine them with anything else.

Retention of those logs is set by the hosting provider and is typically short. We do not export them or pass them to anyone.

UPIFees.com links out to official government and NPCI sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we do not control them. Following a link is the only point at which a third party sees your visit, and that happens only if you choose to click.

No visitor data is sold, rented or shared for marketing, because none is collected.

The site is a general-purpose reference tool and is not directed at children. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

The site is served over HTTPS. Because no personal data is collected or stored, there is no store of visitor data to breach. Static hosting also means no database, no user accounts and no server-side application that could be compromised.

Rights over personal data, such as access, correction and deletion, apply to data a site holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to retrieve or erase. If you believe otherwise, write to contact@upifees.com and we will look into it.

If this policy changes, the revised version will appear here with a new last-updated date. Material changes, such as introducing analytics, will be described rather than slipped in.
